St. George's Lodge No. 15: A Rich Masonic History in St. Catharines
Founded in 1814, St. George’s Lodge No. 15 in St. Catharines, Ontario, boasts a long-standing tradition in Freemasonry. As one of the oldest Masonic lodges in the Niagara region, it holds a key place in local masonic history. The lodge’s official charter dates back to 1855, coinciding with the formation of the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario.

Our Current Location
St. George's Lodge Meetings
We hold our regular meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (except July and August) at the Masonic Memorial Temple Association Building at 23 Centre Street, St. Catharines.
These meetings follow a similar format to other social and charitable organizations. Typical agenda items include:
- Reading Minutes
- Paying Bills
- Degree Work
- Education on masonic history or other topics of interest.
Our goal is to keep meetings engaging and concise. Following each meeting there is a social hour where members can enjoy a light meal and catch up with one another.

To become a member of St. George’s Lodge, you must:
- Be a man, over the age of 21
- Believe in a higher power.
- Have resided in the area for atleast 6 months.
